SO after months of debate the BBC has finally decided it can’t afford free TV licences for the over-75s. With sport coverage going to Sky and BT Sport, drama to ITV and Amazon and documentaries and history to Channel 5, it’s time to ask the National Audit Office to discover just what it spends our £3.7billion on.
