Begum return puts Britain’s safety at risk
WHAT an absolute disgrace and an incomprehensible ruling to allow Shamima Begum to return to the UK to fight the decision to strip her of her British citizenship (“Jihadi bride can return to UK”, July 17).
This sends out the wrong message and puts our country at more risk.
Who are these wooden-headed judges who decide matters and quite frankly make a mockery of the Home Office?
Lord Justice Flaux was one of the two judges who rejected the bid of fatal motorbike crash victim Harry Dunn’s parents to see Foreign Office documents to help a proposed US extradition case, yet he seems OK with the return of an Islamic State bride.
