Tell terrorists to set up Zoom chats with lawyers
I’VE always thought judges lived in a world disconnected from the real one the rest of us live in but the Court of Appeal ruling opening the door to 150 hardened terrorists so they can meet with their lawyers just proves it (“Ruling ‘may open door’ to 150 cases”, July 17).
Are the learned lords and ladies unaware of the video communication millions of us have had to rely on to speak to our families, doctors and work colleagues over the past months?
On the rare occasion when their lawyers need to speak face to face, they should fly out to Syria to see them.
