ACTOR Stephanie Silver, 34, was working on Walk of Shame, an Edinburgh Fringe show when all her planned work was cancelled.

As a qualified children’s nurse she dived back into her medical career to help out on general wards.

She said: “Kids like honest communication, they like silliness and they like to feel valued and listened to. My acting skills help me in communicating and being able to read the Gruffalo in different voices.

“It’s made me realise that having two jobs I love is the best! I’m a lucky human.”
