A US marine sergeant returns to a former unit to help train a squad of raw recruits and prepare them for war zones. While there, he clashes with the platoon under his command, who don’t see the need for his stricter methods during a time of peace, as well as his more youthful commanding officer, and also his ex-wife, with whom he wishes to reconnect.
