No excuse for horror of killing animals for delicacy

I READ with absolute horror the story regarding thousands of cats being cruelly slaughtered for yet another delicacy.

There is absolutely no excuse for this abhorrent behaviour other than greed, which seems to drive everything these days.

This cruelty should be stopped immediately. Cats make wonderful companions, and to see these beautiful souls being treated with no compassion must break the heart of any animal lover.
