EU are pirates of the high seas when it comes to fish

WHEN are we as a nation going to stop these pirates from the EU taking all of our fish stocks (Letters, August 14)?

Why haven’t we got patrol vessels checking our waters to prevent this carnage? I note the same with the migrant fiasco and not turning these people around.The French are not busting a gut to stop them, even though the EU ruling is they must apply for asylum in France not here.

We in the UK have been a cash cow to Europe for decades and it’s time our government turned the tables and toughened up.
