Teachers should put kids first and not themselves

NOT content with failing to provide adequate home-teaching to 40 per cent of their students during lockdown, state school teachers now risk devaluing an entire year’s A-level results by overestimating up to half of the grades (“Fury as four in ten A-level students are downgraded”, August 14).

It seems so many teachers and their unions have agendas, other than what is best for the youngsters whose future is in their hands.
