CARL FRAMPTON is willing to give up home advantage to face Jamel Herring at New York’s Madison Square Garden.
Frampton will become Ireland’s first three-weight world champion if he beats the WBO super-feather title holder in November. Frampton said: “Where we can fight in front of a crowd will be key. Can we go to the United States? If it opens its doors to spectators, we will probably do it there.
“I’d love to do it on the east coast in Madison Square Garden. It’s a great arena.”
Frampton stopped Darren Traynor in seven rounds at York Hall on Saturday to win his tune-up fight.
