CHONG MOVE

MANCHESTER UNITED forward Tahith Chong has completed a season-long loan to Werder Bremen.

The Holland Under-21 winger signed a new contract at Old Trafford only in March. That runs until 2022.

But United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was keen for the player to get first-team experience.

Chong, 20, said: “I’m looking forward to pre-season training with the team. This move is a great opportunity for me to develop.”

Bremen boss Florian Kohfeldt said: “He’s technically gifted and can play on both wings. He’s also really fast.”
