Andi’s kind words for Piers after burglary ordeal
THE man Piers Morgan once threatened to sack live on air has wished him well after his holiday burglary shock.
Andi Peters was among the Good Morning Britain host’s colleagues expressing shock at the incident, in which raiders targeted Piers’ rented villa in France’s Cote d’Azur while he and his family slept.
Andi, who is a stand-in host on Lorraine Kelly’s show alongside Rhea Hebden, said: “Rhea is here with the showbiz news, starting with Piers Morgan, who was burgled.”
“Yes, unfortunately Piers Morgan and his wife, Celia Walden, were on holiday in France and they were burgled whilst sleeping on Thursday,” responded Rhea.
“The burglars took money and jewellery that she was gifted for their fifth wedding anniversary, it’s really awful, the worst thing to happen on holiday.” Andi, 50, agreed: “It’s the absolute worst nightmare, isn’t it?” Looking to the camera, he added: “If

Piers, 55, threatened to have Andi fired amid accusations of “fat-shaming” live on GMB in March, while Andi accused Piers of bullying.

10 years, recounted the ordeal in her column for a newspaper and said sentimental jewellery was taken.
She wrote: “They must have crept in there and stood inches away from us while we slept.
“I felt a stomach-plummeting sense of violation at the actions of these depraved and despicable inhuman beings.”
