Has Liz’s son been left out of his tycoon father’s will?
TYCOON Steve Bing “disinherited” his two children, including his son by Elizabeth Hurley, it was claimed yesterday.
Damian Hurley and Kira Kerkorian were both absent from his will, according to official documents.
It had been drawn up back in 2001 and was untouched for years, it was said.
It comes as Kira fights for control of his estate, which was valued at just £250,000 – despite the late businessman estimated to be worth millions.
Mr Bing committed suicide aged 55 in June by jumping from his 27th-floor apartment in Los Angeles.
He had Damian, now 18, with British actress Ms Hurley back in 2002.
He also had daughter Kira, 21, with former tennis star Lisa Bonder.
Mr Bing was revealed as Kira’s father in a legal dispute between Bonder and her ex-husband, billionaire Kirk Kerkorian, who thought Kira was his daughter.
Fighting
It has now been revealed that Mr Bing drew up his will back in 2001 – before he knew Kira had been born and while Ms Hurley was still pregnant.
In the will document, he notes the English actress was expecting a child but declares: “Whether or not such child is mine, it is my intention not to provide in this will for such child [or any other child as to which I may be the father] in this will or for the offspring of any such child or children, whether now living or hereafter born.”
Despite originally excluding them from his will, Mr Bing later formed relationships with both Damian and Kira, even fighting for them to be included in their grandfather’s trust last year.
Now, Kira is attempting to be made administrator of her late father’s estate. A judge is yet to rule on the issue. Prior to his death, Mr Bing was said to have an estimated net worth of £450million.
While his estate was valued at just £250,000, his properties and other assets were not included in that valuation. He had been a businessman and film producer.
Mr Bing died on June 22, just days before the one-year anniversary of his girlfriend Allexanne Mitchum’s death from a drug overdose, social media posts by her family revealed.
In 2002, he fathered Ms Hurley’s son Damian, but broke up with the actress and model soon after. After his death, Ms Hurley said: “I am saddened beyond belief that my ex Steve is no longer with us. It is a terrible end.
“Our time together was happy and although we went through some tough times, it’s the good, wonderful memories of a sweet, kind man that matter.”
A spokesman for the actress was unavailable last night.
