THE CHARLOTTE HOLMES ADVENTURE BOX

AN IMAGINATIVE combination of new technology and old fashioned adventure, this interactive storytelling game was created by Huddersfield’s Lawrence Batley theatre,The Dukes in Lancaster and theatre producers The Big Tiny.

The box contains numbered, sealed packages and envelopes plus a list of instructions. By following the clues revealed you can attempt to solve the mysteries (there are more than one) as it advances toward the big denouement at a fete in the Yorkshire village where the young heroine has been evacuated during the war.

The messages include clues, codes, puzzles and links to online performances by four actors playing various characters who might assist or distract the players. Enormously engaging for adults as well as kids – parental supervision is advised to deal with some of the more complex elements – it is an engrossing and instructive multidimensional entertainment that should be played each day for a week.
