Brentford’s Mbeumo is feeling right at home

-

BRENTFORD’S Bryan Mbeumo has seen last season’s famous ‘ BMW’ attack broken up but had his foot to the floor against Huddersfield.

The 21- year- old French striker celebrated his 50th appearance for the Bees with the pick of the goals in a 3- 0 win in their first league game played at their new home.

With Ollie Watkins sold to Aston Villa and Said Benrahma set to leave, more burden up front will fall on Mbeumo.

After Josh Dasilva’s opener, Mbeumo provided an assist for Marcus Forss and then buried a 20- yarder into the top corner. Mbeumo said: “I was also delighted to play my 50th game for Brentford but it gives me even more pleasure to score a goal like I did, and get an assist, on this occasion.”

Adam Armstrong believes Blackburn have discovered a real find in Tyrhys Dolan after their 5- 0 win against

Wycombe. Armstrong

bagged his first hat- trick for nearly five years and Dolan, 18, and defender Derek Williams were also on the scoresheet.

Dolan dazzled, and Armstrong said: “All the lads have seen the quality in him. He’s come from Manchester City’s youth academy, so he’s had a good growing up.”

Substitute Jordan Clark’s header with three minutes to go earned Luton a 2- 1 success against Derby. And he said: “Rhys ( Norrington- Davies) provided the cross for my goal at Reading last week and it’s proving a good combination.” Sammy Ameobi says

Nottingham Forest’s players are backing under- fire boss Sabri Lamouchi after their 2- 0 home defeat against

Cardiff City.

After Kieffer Moore netted a brace for the winners, Ameobi said: “Lamouchi is an incredible manager and we are all behind him.”
