Sunak risks election loss with his triple lock threat

IF Rishi Sunak is eyeing the chance of being PM one day he should stop eyeing the pension triple lock that is paid to the very people who he will need to rely on to vote for his party next time (“Rishi eyes triple lock pensions”, September 21).

The economy is on its knees because the Chancellor has thrown money around like confetti and if he ever wants to be PM he should keep manifesto promises and not alienate the party’s core supporters.
