Turn water cannon filled with dye on partygoers

FOR weeks now we have seen pictures from across the country of younger members of society totally ignoring social distancing rules.

Pensioners, who in the main are keeping to the rules, are outraged at this total disregard of the potential for infection transmission among themselves and the general public. The authorities are either reluctant or unable to enforce the rules.

Surely the use of indelible dye in water cannon is the answer. Soaked, they will retreat and the dye will make them either stay home until it can be washed off or easily identified for later prosecution.
