National Grid Ventures, the commercial development arm of National Grid, and Dutch transmission system operator
TenneT have announced an agreement to look at connecting wind farms with subsea electricity cables. These cables, or interconnectors, will help deliver on ambitious targets that both the UK and Netherlands have to expand offshore wind capacity in the North Sea, the companies said.
