Fab show proves a Klopp blessing

LIVERPOOL’S spending spree will be brought to a halt after Fabinho reassured manager Jurgen Klopp he does not need another centre- half.

The club have splashed out a potential £ 70million on Thiago Alcantara and Diogo Jota this summer but the emphasis now is on shipping out squad players.

A huge factor is the display of midfielder Fabinho in a makeshift defensive role alongside Virgil van

“He was man of the match,” said Van Dijk. “To keep out a striker like Timo Werner, he was outstanding.
