Film: The Mountain Between Us, Film4, 9pm

After their flight is cancelled due to stormy weather, neurosurgeon Dr Ben Bass and photojournalist Alex Martin ( Idris Elba and Kate Winslet above) hire private pilot Walter to get them to Denver. But poor Walter suffers a fatal stroke mid- flight and the plane crashes in the High Uintas Wilderness. Ben, Alex and Walter’s dog survive the crash with various injuries and have to struggle on in a bid to survive.
