Old, infirm and disabled are paying obscene wages

I AM 81 years old and disabled but I have just had to send off a cheque, paid out of my pension of course, to purchase a TV licence (“BBC boss will meet licence fee protesters”, September 22).

I am sure that all the grossly overpaid BBC presenters who are simply producers of hot air must be hugely delighted to know that their extravagant remunerations are largely financed by the old, the infirm and the disabled.
