NEWPORT reached the fourth round for the first time in their history with another brilliant giant- killing.

The League Two side, who have carved out a reputation for knocking out big teams in the FA Cup over the last few years, stunned Watford with two goals inside the opening half an hour.

Tristan Abrahams put them in front from an 18th- minute penalty – given for a foul on Brandon Cooper by Toby Stevenson – before Joss Labadie produced a superb second into the

top corner 10 minutes later. Championship side Watford brought themselves back into it with a 54th- minute penalty of their own, put away by Ad Adalberto P Penaranda. But Padraig A Amond, left, s sealed the suc success – and a home tie against Morecambe or Newcastle – with a low drive after 65 minutes. Watford had Stipe Perica sent off two minutes from time for violent conduct against Cooper.
