Fight fear at derby

POLICE have ordered a 12.30pm kick- off for Watford’s derby with Luton on Saturday to prevent crowd trouble – despite no fans being admitted.

Intelligence suggests hooligans may be planning to travel from Bedfordshire to Watford town centre. Extra officers will be drafted in to monitor train stations and major traffic routes.

Chief Supt Matt Nicholls said: “Anyone who comes into Hertfordshire to cause criminal damage, violence or anti- social behaviour can expect to be arrested.”
