Chancellor Rishi deserves the support of pensioners

I AM a pensioner, not rich, but not on the breadline either. When the Tories published their election manifesto confirming they would maintain the triple lock on pensions, they, as the rest of us, weren’t aware of coronavirus lurking around the corner and the economic disaster it would bring with it (“Rishi eyes triple lock pensions”, September 21).

So, every member of our society will have to accept that it will hit

all of our wallets. Not ideal, I agree, but these aren’t ideal times.
