WATFORD

have told Roberto Pereyra and Etienne Capoue they will not play for the club again after both submitted transfer requests.

Winger Pereyra, 29, wants a move back to Italy, where he reached the Champions League final with Juventus five years ago.

Midfielder Capoue, voted player of the season by fans in 2019 and briefly the club’s record signing when they paid Tottenham £ 5.7m in 2015, also wants to leave following last term’s relegation. He is a target for former Hornets boss Javi Gracia at Valencia.
