- By James Nursey

BARCELONA are mulling over a third offer for Norwich youngster

Max Aarons despite also bidding for Ajax right- back Sergino Dest.

Barca boss Ronald Koeman is trying to entice USA international Dest for £ 18million to replace Nelson Semedo, who ho has gone to Wolves.

But the Spaniards are still keen on Canaries right- back Aarons, above. They have made two offers to take Aarons on loan for a fee, including an option to buy.

Relegated Canaries are refusing to do deals on the cheap after turning down Liverpool’s £ 10m for Jamal Lewis and accepting £ 15m from Newcastle instead.

They want £ 20m for Aarons, who covered more distance than Liverpool’s Trent Alexander- Arnold last term and whose passing accuracy in the final third was one of the highest among the full- backs.
