A HOSPITALITY recruitment firm could be forced to cut four jobs, two- thirds of staff, next month if a new support scheme is not offered.
Abi Dunn founded Sixty Eight People, right, in January 2019 and helps find managers and staff for bars, pubs and restaurants. She initially used the furlough scheme to support her six employees when the March lockdown began but unfurloughed two last month.
Abi said: “It’s devastating because we went through such hell in March and then we were saved through furlough and all it has really done is push the decision to November. It’s a shame that actually, what it was supposed to do, was allow people to come back. I’ve had to have conversations I didn’t want to have.”
