Radio 3 in Concert Radio 3, 7.30pm

In a concert recorded last Friday at Kings Place in London, British vocal ensemble VOCES8 perform music rooted in nature, including Jonathan Dove’s song cycle The Passing of the Year, evoking the beauty of the changing seasons.

The composer accompanies the singers on the piano, while the concert also includes folksong arrangements describing the beauty of the landscape.

Plus, there is a choral version of one of Sibelius’s best- loved melodies, and music from Alex Roth and Kate Rusby.
