Government needs to see sense over Covid impact

IT is clear from the ever- growing number of Covid cases that none of the increasingly draconian measures being imposed on the population are having any effect (“Payback time! Covid tax rises on the way”, October 6).

So what is the point? Death rates have remained extremely low, not mirroring case numbers as they did in the first wave.

People are dying of other problems because of the Covid restrictions, businesses are being ruined and the economy is wrecked. When is anyone in Government going to see sense? Karen Gwynn, Bromsgrove, Worcs
