Villains oversee yet more Old Trafford own goals
I DOUBT the vast majority of Manchester United supporters are happy (“Cavani and Telles ease pain of Sancho stalemate”, October 6).
They needed central defenders and a right winger and came up with a left- back and an ageing centre- forward nobody else wanted.
Additionally they needed to clear out a raft of expensive dead wood and failed completely to do that. It’s a total shambles, which is likely to be laid at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s door, like his predecessor Jose Mourinho, when the real villains carry on trousering millions.
