Myleene: My shock at losing four babies
RADIO presenter Myleene Klass has revealed she secretly suffered four miscarriages before having her youngest child, son Apollo.
The mum- of- three said she was inspired by US model Chrissy Teigen, who last month shared harrowing pictures of herself in hospital after losing her baby with husband singer John Legend.
Myleene posted two pictures of herself posing with a baby bump yesterday to mark Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day.
She wrote that Chrissy “gave me the courage to write” and that she was “Mama to 7 babies” including “4 little stars in the sky”.
The ex- Hear’Say singer added: “I know after my own MC’s [ miscarriages] how I scoured the internet for stories similar to mine for peace, reassurance. I hope this helps even one lost soul.”
Myleene said during her first “The scan was the saddest sight.” She said her baby “started to sink and slowly floated down” and added: “The feeling is nothing short of traumatic, shock.”
The 42- year- old wrote that her one- year- old Apollo with fiance Simon Motson was her “miracle” baby. She said: “I injected countless, endless hormones into my belly to keep my placenta working.”
Her daughters Ava, 13, and Hero, nine, were with ex- husband Graham Quinn.
