Boris is achieving exactly what he set out to do
DEPRESSED by the relentless criticism of Boris Johnson for his handling of the pandemic, I thought I’d do a fact check on how he’s really fared.
He set out to save the NHS, preserve jobs, kickstart the economy, establish a nationwide testing system from scratch and fund pioneering treatments.
By my reckoning with the latest employment figures (“Jobs crisis: It won’t be as bad as feared”, October 15), he’s achieved all five.
Fortunately we have the Daily Express to remind us of this.
