King: It’s been worst two months of my life

- By Tony Banks

JOSH KING has spoken of his frustration as he bids to force through an exit from Bournemouth.

The Norway striker, right, saw a £ 13million transfer to West Ham break down this week and his Championship club have also rejected a bid from Torino.

Everton and Aston Villa are still interested but King, a target for Manchester United in January, could yet stay put at the Cherries.

He said: “It’s been the two worst months of my life. If it had been up to me, I would have already signed for a club, played four games and been in top form.

“The club would rather me be here, but we had an agreement after what happened in January.

“If you had asked me two months ago if I thought I would be at Bournemouth now, I would have answered 110 per cent no.

“We’ll see if I go now or in January.”
