Raphinha’s murder to play

- DAVE ARMITAGE

LEEDS’ Luke Ayling says new winger Raphinha has scored some nice goals already in training – though none as good as his legendary volley.

Defender Ayling netted a scorcher in Leeds’ win over Huddersfield last season.

He claims Raphinha, 23, has not topped that but is impressed with the Brazilian after facing him in Marcelo Bielsa’s ‘ murderball’ practice games, when multiple balls are used in a non- stop drill.

“We did a murderball and I was playing against him,” said Ayling. “He had some very nice touches. We’ve got a good player on our hands.

“He’s scored a few good goals already in training. Of course none have been better than mine! That wasn’t just a very good goal, it was an amazing goal!”

LEICESTER’S £ 32million teenager Wesley Fofana could be handed his debut against Aston Villa on Sunday.

Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers has problems in the centre of his defence and may be forced to blood the 19- year- old earlier than he had planned.

Caglar Soyuncu, who has played every minute so far this season, missed Turkey’s 2- 2 draw with Serbia with a hamstring injury. Partner Jonny Evans played the first half of Northern Ireland’s 1- 0 defeat by Norway, but came off complaining of a groin problem.
