SNP blind eye to Covid MP

MARGARET Ferrier’s pathetic excuse for travelling 250 miles on a train when she knew she had Covid was that “the virus makes you act out of character”, which is about as convincing as “the dog ate my homework”.

But Ferrier, who also made a speech in the House of Commons ( and used the tea room, the toilets etc), is going to get away with it because police have said her positive test took place three days before the legal requirement to self- isolate came into force.

What a bloody farce! And where are the hysterical voices that screamed for Dominic Cummings to be sacked because he’d travelled 250 miles in a private car ( with no positive test result)? Where’s the vociferous condemnation of Ferrier from the SNP’s Westminster leader, Ian Blackford, who was frothing at the mouth about Cummings for weeks?

The sad truth is the majority of politicians are hypocrites. If one of their own breaks the rules they try to brush it quietly under the carpet. If someone from the Opposition does it – they scream and scream till their lives and careers are ruined.

WHAT in the name of blue blazes has happened to Phil Collins’ wife, Orianne Cevey? And I’m not talking about the couple’s rekindled romance which has just hit the buffers. I’m talking about her face. She’s only 46 for God’s sake but she looks like she’s done 10 rounds with Tyson Fury.

Cevey got £ 25million from Collins when they divorced. She needs to stop spending it on her face!
