Fears over extremism
A POLICE chief has warned of the dangers of online radicalisation after a teenage A- star pupil was lured into far- Right extremism.
Harry Vaughan admitted 16 charges at the Old Bailey earlier this year. They included 12 of possessing terrorist documents, one of encouraging terrorism, one of disseminating terrorist material and two of making indecent images of children.
Vaughan, 18, a former pupil at a top- rated school in south- west London, yesterday faced a pre- sentence hearing. He will be sentenced next Friday.
Commander Richard Smith, head of the Met Police Counter Terrorism Command, said: “I want everyone to be vigilant for signs that a young, loved one may be in trouble. Talk to the police before it’s too late.”
