Drive- in cafe... car just misses diners
CAFE customers had a narrow escape when a car ploughed through the table they had just been sitting at.
The Kia Picanto, thought to have been driven by a man who pressed the wrong pedal, crashed through the window and stopped at the counter.
A woman was taken to hospital while three other customers suffered lesser injuries.
Ricky Garrett, 67, who broke his thumb while pulling his mum away from the car’s path in Newbridge, South Wales, said: “If we had not have moved tables we’d have been dead.”
