ELDERLY STRUGGLE TO DOWNLOAD APP

FEWER than one in three pensioners in a survey said they had installed the NHS coronavirus tracking app.

Campaign group Silver Voices said that of the 69 per cent who do not have it, more than half ( 57 per cent) said their mobile phone was too old.

Dennis Reed, director of Silver Voices, said: “We urge the Government to update the app.”
