Trump to ‘ run again’ if defeated

DONALD Trump will run for president in 2024 if he loses next month’s election, his former chief strategist has claimed.

Steve Bannon made the prediction as the President continues to trail in the polls to Democratic rival Joe Biden.

Mr Bannon said: “You’re not going to see the end of Donald Trump.

“I’ll make this prediction right now. If for any reason the election is stolen or Joe Biden is declared the winner, Trump will announce he’s going to run for re- election in 2024.”

Many have scoffed at the prediction, pointing to how Mr Trump would be 78 if he ran in 2024 and could possibly still be embroiled in ongoing civil cases against him.

Mr Bannon believes the November 3 poll is “closer than is being reported”.

But he said: “Mr Trump will win on election day.”
