Why aren’t we beating a path to scientist’s door?

IF the Covid- 19 treatment devised by the scientist in Australia, as described by Frederick Forsyth, is so effective why have we not heard of it before and why is the world not turning up on his doorstep?

The only satisfactory way to deal with this virus is to kill it off, not contain or prevent the spread.

As a retired pharmacist I am appalled at the idea that the pharmaceutical industry may be spinning out this situation longer than is necessary in order to make a killing when eventually producing an effective treatment.
