More people will die from other diseases than virus

IN the attempt to save people’s lives, many are being destroyed by systematic fear being spread by this Government and its advisers.

The untold damage to physical and mental health will result in a greater number of deaths from other diseases than from Covid- 19.

I agree with Professor Karol Sikora ( The Positive Professor, October 16) regarding the muchmaligned focused protection.

It is a calculated risk, one which eventually will have to be taken as future lockdowns become unsustainable for the economy. Jimmy Riley,

Has anyone advising Government or a member of Government been to see just how hard the hospitality industry has worked to keep their businesses open?

They deserve our patronage for what they’ve done.
