Lily cancels chat show date after kiss photo
ACTRESS Lily James has cancelled her appearance on Graham Norton’s TV chat show after she was pictured kissing married actor Dominic West.
Lily, 31, was set to be a guest on the BBC programme on Friday to promote her Netflix drama Rebecca but pulled out yesterday.
It was announced that her co- star Kristin Scott Thomas will take her place instead.
Show bosses confirmed Lily will return at a later date.
The Downton Abbey star was also meant to appear yesterday on the Today show in the US to promote her new film alongside Armie Hammer but they both cancelled.
The actress, who also starred in Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, was last night still due to appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon for a live interview. The cancellations come just days after Lily and Dominic, 51, were snapped kissing and riding a scooter together in Rome after starring opposite each other in The Pursuit Of Love.
The pair, who star as father and daughter in the upcoming BBC adaptation, enjoyed a two- day getaway in the city before Dominic flew back to 49- year- old wife Catherine FitzGerald.
Dominic ditched his wedding ring during his holiday with Lily and days later put on a united front with his wife, proclaiming their marriage was “strong”.
The couple, who have four children, held hands outside their home in Chippenham, Wilts, last Tuesday with Dominic sporting a bare ring finger. The pair kissed for the cameras.
Lily’s representatives have been contacted for a comment.
