DOES HUMBLE CHEESECAKE TAKE THE BISCUIT FOR TOP PUD?
THIS might sound strange but one of the first things I do when I go for a meal is to check if a decent cheesecake is on the dessert menu (“Cheesecake hits sweet spot with pud lovers”, November 25).
My family think I’m mad skipping past starters and mains but
I don’t care. There’s just something so yummy and decadent about the creamy top, lovely filling and crunchy biscuit a good cheesecake has.
While I’m not averse to sticky toffee puddings, ice cream and tiramisu, give me a cheesecake any day. Ann Young,

I CAN’T quite believe cheesecake has been voted top pud.
What about the rich, dreamy taste of a great chocolate cake or the genius that is an Eton mess?
There’s just something I don’t like about cheesecakes. It doesn’t work for me. The soft creamy topping mixed with vanilla, fruit or chocolate is a waste.
How cheesecake can beat a Victoria sponge and brownies is beyond my comprehension.
I’ll be having a piece of chocolate cake tonight, not cheesecake thank you very much.
