Tory MPs show common sense as country suffers

CONGRATULATIONS to the 52 Tory MPs who have stated that the £ 3,300 pay rise should not be taken up (“MPs: Don’t pay us more”, November 25).

Can we hope that if the governing body does award the rises, that the names of all those who take up the increase are published, so that their constituents are aware and hopefully punish those who do at the next election.
