Dubois up for biggest fight of life
DANIEL DUBOIS says he doesn’t try to use intimidation as a tactic.
But the man nicknamed ‘ Dynamite’ knows that after knocking out 14 out of his 15 opponents to date, it comes with the territory.
He said: “I don’t go out to make anyone afraid intentionally but if it happens that’s up to them to be intimidated by me.” Joe Joyce will say he isn’t intimidated ahead of their British, Commonwealth and European title clash on Saturday.
It certainly is the first time many really believe the man getting in the ring with Dubois can end his unbeaten run.
But the 23- year- old Dubois brushes such pressure off his shoulders easily. “I know what is on the line, this is the biggest fight of my life and my career to date,” said Dubois, right, ahead of the clash with Joyce, 35, at Church House in Westminster.
“I’m really up for it. There’s a lot on the line but I can’t let that worry me.
“It’s all or nothing. We are not in this sport to be second best. Losing is not an option.”
