Under- fire PFA boss Taylor will
GORDON TAYLOR has finally announced a date to leave the highest- paid union job in the country.
Last year, the 75- yearold announced he would step down as Professional Footballers’ Association chief executive after the completion of an independent review of the organisation – but no time limit was set.
In a letter to members, he has agreed to quit at the end of the season as the organisation continues to come under fire for its failure to take a lead in the coronavirus situation and also for their lack of action on the game’s dementia issue despite compelling evidence released a year ago.
Taylor wrote: “Now that the independent review process has completed, I too will step down, by the end of the current season. A new chief executive will
