MOORE JOY AS BLUEBIRDS TAKE FLIGHT

-

KIEFFER MOORE was at the double to secure Cardiff’s second victory in four days as they beat Huddersfield 3- 0.

The Wales striker clinched back- to- back Championship victories for the first time this season to ease the pressure on manager Neil Harris.

Cardiff broke the deadlock in the 35th minute, Sheyi Ojo whipping the ball across the face of goal for the 6ft 5in Moore to side- foot in. Junior Hoilett squared for Moore, below, who had a simple tap- in for his second.

There was still time e for substitute Robert Glatzel to turn Rarmani Edmonds-Green and fire past Ben Hamer.

Adam Nagy’s winner sent Bristol City to within a point t of the Championship summit it as they triumphed 2- 1 at QPR.

Rob Dickie rose unmarked from just four yards to head in after 12 minutes to put QPR ahead.

But Na Nakhi Wells’ equaliser again against his old club tur turned the tide, and Nagy’s clinical finish kept the Robins in the thick of the promotion chase. Scott Sinclair scor scored a sublime 40 40- yard lob in a 3- 2 win for Preston as Bournemouth blew the chance to go top. Former Celtic ace Sinclair brilliantly picked out the top corner after spotting Asmir Begovic off his line.

Preston took the lead through Tom Barkhuizen before Sinclair’s stunner and defender Patrick Bauer made it 3- 0. Junior Stanislas’s 25- yard free- kick left gave the home side hope of staging a comeback before Sam Surridge headed in but Preston held firm.
