Met will not give up hunt for Maddie
SCOTLAND Yard will continue its Madeleine McCann missing person investigation until detectives find out what happened to her.
Prosecutor Hans Christian Wolters, leading the probe in Germany, says he has “concrete evidence” German Christian Brueckner, 43, killed the three- year- old.
At the time the Met Police said there was still no definitive proof Madeleine was dead after she vanished in the Algarve in 2007.
Yesterday the force’s commissioner Dame Cressida Dick said: “We have our small team still working on that. There is no significant change for us in terms of our resourcing or posture.
“We will continue until the time that it is right, either because much more light has been thrown on this and, or, somebody has been brought to justice. Or we have exhausted all opportunities.”
