Trust wonders of science
AS the country passed the heartbreaking milestone of 60,000 coronavirus deaths yesterday the urgency of rolling out a programme of mass vaccinations was greatly underscored.
People aged over 80, care home staff and some at- risk NHS workers will be among the first to receive the jab on Tuesday.
The country faces one of its greatest logistical challenges in peacetime history as experts plan how millions of us can be vaccinated in the months ahead.
This is not the time to spread either the virus or conspiracy theories. Instead, those of us who have the opportunity to receive the vaccine should jump at the chance and put our trust in a wonder of science which will save a great multitude of lives.
