It’s tough now... cancer battle star Sarah thanks fans for their support
SARAH Harding has thanked fans for their “love and support” since she revealed she has cancer – and told them she “can’t deny things are tough right now”. The former Girls Aloud singer, 39, announced in August that she had breast cancer, which had spread to other parts of her body. Yesterday she tweeted: “Hi everyone. Thank you so much for all the messages of love and support that I’ve received since my last post. “Everyone has been so kind and reading your comments has been such a huge source of strength to me. I can’t deny that things are tough right now but I’m fighting as hard as I possibly can and being as brave as I know how.” The Celebrity Big Brother star, who moved back in with her mum Marie, 80, also posted a picture of herself as a child. She revealed she has been asked to write her autobiography. Sarah said: “It came at such a good time as it’s given me something fun and positive to focus on while I’ve been stuck at home in between trips to the hospital for treatment.”
