China holds a monopoly on what we can now buy
IT’S highly commendable of Boris to suggest buying British in the run- up to Christmas to kickstart our economy (“PM: Buy British and bring festive cheer”, December 2).
But the harsh reality of things is that, other than food, most of the products we buy aren’t manufactured in this country anymore anyway.
Most of the goods we buy now are made in China.
This isn’t going to change for the
foreseeable future and we need a major rethink.
Forward thinking is the only way we can change this.
